is based on a comprehensive evaluation of
over two thousand qualified programs
nation-wide.
Schools
are appraised on a broad range of criteria,
from the professional qualifications of
instructors to student satisfaction and
retention.
Each schools efforts to create a family
atmosphere and an educational curriculum
emphasizing physical, mental and spiritual
aspects of martial arts are also judged. In
addition to the programs themselves,
evaluators consider the master instructors'
professional activities on national and
international levels, their contributions to
furthering the standards of martial arts,
and their leadership and participation
within the local community.
