Azad’s Martial Arts Center is holding its 19th Annual Azad’s Thanksgiving Basket Brigade on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010. Each year Azad’s Martial Arts students spearhead this community event and raise funds to assist those in need in our community.

Our goal this year is to help 200 local families with children in Chico. For only $40 you can purchase a complete dinner for a deserving family of six or eight in the Chico area.

Please make your tax deductible donations to Ident-A-Child Program, a local non-profit organization in Chico, and mail your checks to Azad’s Martial Arts Family Center, 313 Walnut St. Suite 150, Chico Ca. 95928. On November 23rd between 5-6pm the dinner baskets will be assembled, and from 6-7 they will be delivered to all the qualified families. Each Basket will include a turkey, bread, vegetables, gravy, a roasting pan, and all other items necessary to make a fantastic dinner for up to 8 people.

The cut off date for fund-raising is Monday, November 22nd, 2010. Folks may even sponsor a family they are familiar with by purchasing a dinner for them and have us deliver it on your behalf.

1. For sponsoring up to 2 families you'll receive a beautiful certificate of appreciation, 1 month free lesson and a free uniform with enrollment for your contribution and generosity. ($150 value) Plus a  letter thanking you for your generosity from Ident-A-Child which states your donation as a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE item.
2. For sponsoring up to 3 families you'll receive all of the above AND a FREE Birthday party for your children at Azad’s. ($250 value)
3. For sponsoring up to 5 families you'll receive all of the above AND a free private lesson with Master Azad.
