Letters from Students and Parents

Master Azad,
Since enrolling Amanda in Karate classes, we have seen great improvement in her behavior. Amanda is our most difficult child, we could not get her to sit down and focus. We noticed improvement right away at home and then at the end of February just after a few lessons, Amanda received an award in outstanding citizenship. Amanda started to listen to both of us a lot more, so we have continued to try and make it to all her classes. We know that Amanda is missing days but we are planning for her to attend most all the makeup classes as offered. We also saw a bit of improvement in her academics, especially when she received academic achievement awards in May. We know that the award dated May 1st is for April, but we are so very proud of her in all of her accomplishments. We both highly recommend that Amanda be allowed to rank test when you believe she is ready.

Sincerely,
Amanda H.’s Mom

To Whom It May Concern:

I have had the privilege of being Anthony’s preschool teacher for the last two years. It has been amazing being able to see how he has grown and changed in that time.

Anthony has always been a great friend, very personable, great at following directions and quite the comedian. I have really enjoyed the experience of watching Anthony’s growth since he started karate. Before karate, Anthony was a lot more reserved around strangers (new kids, parents, etc) and now, he has a lot more confidence. Confidence is definitely the most noticeable trait that had blossomed in Anthony. It is so exciting to see Anthony take on more of a leadership role among his peers!

Sincerely,
Ketti, Preschool teacher

To the staff at Azad’s:

As Sarah M.’s mother, I fully support her advancement in her martial arts training; I have seen Sarah use her lifeskills recently. Sarah has had a fear of swimming for several years now. Ad recently she has been tapping into her courage to overcome this fear. With every small success she is able to find more courage to conquer her fear. Recently Sarah has been a target for several girls to make fun of her. I have seen Sarah reach deep inside and be able to smile and hold her head high in order not let these things bring her down. Bother these things are talked about at home as well as in her martial arts classes. The teachings of courage and indomitable spirit have been incredibly helpful in Sarah’s life. Thank you for all you do!

Sincerely,
Kathy M.

Master Azad,
Before we enrolled Ashley at Azad’s, we had a lot of trouble with her being a problem child in the sense that she was not very respectful towards both of us. Now she is a lot better and a lot more respectful towards us. We are very proud of her accomplishment these past few months even though she did not receive any awards. We were very proud to see her report cards. We also are very proud that she has graduated kindergarten. We both feel that Ashley is ready to test when you feel she is ready.

Sincerely,
Ashley H.’s Mom

I am writing to inform you that Tayo continues to be an overall excellent student here at school. He is a good listener and he makes good choices. Tayo is a role model to other children in the classroom. He always comes in with a smile on his face and he always has a positive attitude. Tayo continues to have lots of friends because he is such a good friend! We continue to enjoy having him at out school. I would recommend him for any advancement he is ready for next

Sincerely,
Susan Roath, Owner of Bidwell Academy
