Shimkendo is a
program specially designed by Master
Farshad Azad for the seniors. This
is a low impact, low-stress exercise
program based on ancient teachings
concerning the body’s natural
internal energy system and healing
powers.

Shimkendo is an
exercise program is for all adults
who are looking to increase positive
energy, reduce stress, and
dramatically improve their health
and youthfulness. The course is
based not on magic but on following
the exact guidelines which have
proven to increase energy, increased
range of motion in joints, improved
muscle dexterity, strengthened
tendons and ligaments, dramatically
improved bone marrow mass and
density, improved breathing and
ability to take control of body’s
internal repair systems.
Shimkendo combines the wisdom of the
East with the modern physiological
understandings of the west in
enhancing students’ physical, mental
and spiritual health and balance in
life.
Through the techniques of Shimkendo
many students have reduced illnesses
such as muscle spasms, joint
stiffness, arthritic symptoms,
intensity of diabetic challenges,
blood pressure, personal stress,
breathing problems, anxiety
disorders, depression, pains and
aches, and improved agility,
flexibility, strength, self control,
confidence in the body,
cardiovascular abilities, and much
more.
Shimkendo’s current students age
range from 55 to 87 years of age.
